Any thoughts on the Montessori School of Fremont? I'm looking for a small Montessori daycare for my 3-year-old with specific food needs.

During my visit to the Montessori School of Fremont, I learned that while they don't have their own kitchen facilities, parents are required to provide lunch for their children. However, the school does provide snacks.

I found the below on Instagram:
one good Montessori-like activity at home is sweeping with a child-size broom. Show the child how to sweep into a pile with the broom.
Hold the dustpan and sweep dirt into it with the brush.
Carefully carry the dustpan to the garbage and empty it.
Your child can rinse the dustpan at the end. This task reinforces gross motor skills, taking care of the environment using temporal sequencing and vocabulary development. What's most important for a child, though, is that s/he is doing what "big people" do.

Do you know what happened with the Northgate Park construction? When will it be completed?

The park is scheduled to close on January 18, 2024 and will be completed by summer 2024 barring unforeseen conditions and weather delays.
